Looking for water

I love exploring. In particular I love looking for new places to catch carp. Most places that talk about fishing in the USA don't mention if there is carp in a water or not, and many places that do are kept secret for fear that other will fish there or worse use the fish as a target. I cant speak to how much of an impact this really makes on a given fishery, but here is a handy map of places that have had common carp reported and are not in the least "secret":

Now some of these places don't have carp any longer or in very low numbers but most are worth a shot. Keep in mind that not all these places have good public access.
